Day 01: Departrure from own country.
Day 02: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1350m).
Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport representative will welcome you and give you further details of the program. There are no planned activities for your arrival day, so check into the hotel, get your bearings and enjoy your overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Visit to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Syambunath evening briefing about trek.
Day 04: By Vehicule (Jeep) Kathamandu via Gorkha (1060m). to Arugat (608m) Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 05: By jeep Arughat to Soti Bazaar (700m). Duration: 2-3 hours.
Day 06: Soti Bazaar to Machakhola (869m). Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 07: Machakhola to Jagat (1340m) Duration: 7 hours.
Day 08: Jagat-Philim (1570m)/ to Lokpa(2240m). Duration: 6 hours.
Day 09: Lokpa to Chisopani (1665m) Duration: 4-5 hours.
Day 10: Chisopani to Chumling (2386m). Duration: 5 hours.
Day 11: Chumling to Chhokhangparo (3033m). Duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 12: Chokhangparo to Nile/Chhule (3360m). Duration: 4-5 hours.
Day 13: Nile/Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700m). Duration: 2-3 hours.
Day 14: Mu Gompa, visit around Mu Gompa.
Day 13: Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa/Burgi Village (3240m). via Tibetan border.
Day 14: Burgi village to Chumling (2386m). Duration: 6 hours.
Day 15: Chumling to Philim (1570m). Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 16: Philim to Khorlabesi (970m). Duration: 7 hours.
Day 17: Khorlabesi to Soti Khola (700m). Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 18: Soti Khola via Arughat (608m). to Kathmandu (1350m). We walk down till Arugat 4 hours and drive 6-7 hours. Overnight at hotel Kathamandu.
Day 19: Journey security at Kathamandu free day.
Day 20: Departure
The Tsum Valley is one of the most distant valleys in the Himalayas. It is surrounded by high peaks like: Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, Buddha Himal. This region remains secret and wild because open to tourism only since 2007. You cross many villages with a very deep Buddhist culture. Arid landscapes, barren hills and hidden monasteries will seduce you. You will visit ancient Gompas such as: Mu Gompa, Rachen Gumpa, Dephyudonma Gompa. The trek starts in Arughat and goes up the valley of the Budhi Gandaki river. You walk in beautiful pine and rhododendron forests. The high Himalayan peaks are not far !
