Everest Trek

Itinerary:

Day 01: Flight to Lukla and start trek to Phakding (2620 m)

This day, you will fly to (Lukla 2840 m) with our guide. It’s the gateway of Mt. Everest, The trek begins from here and the group will step ahead toward Phakding (2610 meter) a Sherpa village following the base camp trail.

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3420 m)

The trek of second day will start after breakfast and the group will have lunch on the way. On this day the group will enter into Sagarmatha National Park. After 6-7 hours walking you will reach at Namche which is the world famous rural market having many facilities.

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3420 m)

As it is above 3000 meters from sea level in alpine environment, people take rest for acclimatization which helps to fit us with high altitude environment.

Day 04: Trek to Thame (3800 m) and then to Syangboche. (3700 m)

Thame is on 3-4 hours walking distance from Namche which is also the home village of Worlds’ mountain hero Mr. Appa Sherpa. Here you will visit to Stupa and old Buddhist monastery. And we returned back to Syangboche which is the panoramic view spot just above Namche. We stay one night here.

Day 05: Trek Syangboche to Khumjung(3790 m).

Khumjung is the village, located next to Syangboche little below at the bottom of Khumbi La peak, where we can visit the monastery and to see the partial Yeti skeleton and observe unique Sherpa culture

Day 06: Trek to Phortse.(3800 m)

Phortse, a Sherpa Himalayan village in the lap of Tawoche Peak, can be reached within 4 hours from Khumjung. World renowned mountains Everest, Amadablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamaserku and some others, while going to phortse.Musk deer. We can also see Himalayan Thar and some alpine birds.

Day 07: Trek to Pangboche Village (3985 m)

Pangboche is in the distance of 4 hour walking through the cliff, this trail is just opposite of Tyangboche monastery which is very difficult on cliff but the path is not like that difficult yak and other animal also can walk through here. Pangboche is at tree line, where we can see the wile Himalayan Thar grazing in the field with cattle.

Day 08: Trek to Tyangboche Monastery (3867 m)

Visiting the Pangboche monastery and village we returned back down to Tyangboche, which is very easy walk of just three hours. This place is in the hill and surrounded by rhododendron forest. This is also the good point for viewing the Everest Panoramic Mountains toward north.

Day 09: Trek to Namche (3420 m)

It takes 5-6 hours of walking to Namche. We descend down to Phortse Thenga and then slightly ascend up to Kyangjuma following the slope and wide path and then to Namche leaving the famous mountain in the backwards.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla (2840 m):

This is the last day of walking after 3 hours of walking you will exit from the national park and further 3 hours of walking you will finally get to Lukla.

Return to Kathmandu

Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu (1300 m)

This morning the guide will take you back to Kathmandu by flight and you will be checked in into hotel and will have rest and refreshment. This evening we all will have farewell dinner.

Day 12: Departure:

This day our representative will come to hotel and take you to airport for final departure on your time with wishing you very happy journey.

Sherpa heritage

This trek allows you to approach the prestigious Mt Everest (8848m) and the neighboring peaks of the Himalayan range. You enter the heart of Sherpa country.

A circuit without much difficulty borrowing from Buddhist culture. Typical villages, gompas, monasteries, stupas, Yaks and perhaps the Yeti will be there. The main inhabitants of this region are of the Sherpa ethnic group. They have become famous for their great adaptability in treks at high altitudes. Strong, resistant men, become porters or guides essential for any expedition to the high peaks. They are respected for their courage, their kindness and their devotion in connection with their Buddhist culture of which they are proud. Many festivals and celebrations take place throughout the year: The Losar festival at the end of February celebrates the new year of the Tibetan calendar, The Dumze celebrates Guru Rinpoche in the village of Gompa (monastery) for seven days in July.

The route will take you to discover very beautiful villages. The largest Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar (3420m) and its large market. The stupa and the Syangboche monastery (3700m). The authentic village of Khumgung (3790m). Phortse (3800m) at the top of Khumbi peak. From there, an incredible view of the Himalayan 8000m: Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse…

Phortsé in the cliff at 3867m Tyangboche and its famous Gompa facing Everest. You get there by crossing a beautiful rhododendron forest.
