Day 06 : Langtang village to Kyanjing Ri (4773m/15655ft) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m/12495ft) Duration: 7-8 hrs
Day 07 : Kyangjuma Gompa Exploration and climb Chorkari Ri (5050m/16564ft) Duration: 7 hrs
Day 08 : Trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp (4,600m/1588ft) Duration: 5 – 6 hrs

The Naya Kanga peak (5846m) is located in the Langtang valley west of Gandja la pass. You start your hike through the forests of rhododendrons, birches and fir trees. A luxuriant vegetation which shelters a varied fauna such as: musk deer, rhesus monkey, red panda (rarer) etc.
The trail continues on a northeast ridge towards the summit. From the path, a very beautiful view is offered to you on the langtang Lirung glacier (7227m). The climb is then more difficult on snowy or even icy slopes. Good physical resistance and notions of mountaineering are essential. You arrive at the Naya Kanga base camp (4800m), then at the high camp (5000m), to reach the Naya Kanga summit at 5846m.
This trek is also a special opportunity to discover the Sherpa culture. Its ancestral traditions in contact with the inhabitants. Tibetan Buddhism in the Kyangjin Gompa Monastery.
