Between Jumla and lower Dolpo Trek

A trek in a hidden valley of Dolpo (central west of Nepal) which takes you to the highlands where vegetation is scarce. This region at the foot of the Himalayas always offers you in the background the spectacle of the highest snow-capped peaks in the world. In particular the splendid Dhaulagiri massif. A varied and physical circuit. Passes to pass, picturesque villages, Buddhist shrines, lakes with turquoise waters, fauna and flora typical of the Himalayas. You start the trip with a flight to Nepalgunj, then the trek departs from the village of Juphal. The path follows the picturesque old salt road. You will come across caravans of yaks, other animals and porters. Among the most remarkable places of this circuit you have: The very pretty village of Tarakot whose inhabitants are Tibetan Buddhist Bon Po, the valley of Dho Tarap, the lake Shey Phoksundo, Shey Gompa, and the monastery of Chholing.
