Langtang Trek

Itineray (01)

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu(1350 m)
 Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport representative will welcome you and give you further details of the program. There are no planned activities for your arrival day, so check into the hotel, get your bearings and enjoy your overnight at lodge.

Day 02: Visit to Boudhanath Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath,
Our city guide will take you to historical places around Kathmandu valley which is also listed on world heritage sites by UNESCO. This day you will be given general information about trekking regarding Do and Dons during trekking, and daily routine / schedule will be given to you by our tour guide every day evening briefing about trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru bensi (1503m)
Approximately 7-8 hours driving from Kathmandu Syabru bensi can be reached, which is a small town. Here post office, telephone, hospital service are available. It is a Tamang village situated in the bank ofr the Trishuli River, where we spend our first night. This day we can see the panoramic view of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh, as well as some peaks of Langtang area.

Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2470m)
We start our walking after crossing the hanging bridge over the Trishuli River and our journey passes through the jungle and it leads us to Lama hotel 2470 meter. The trail goes left side from the small stream which comes from higher part, Langtang glacier and Langshisa glacier. After a while walk we cross this stream moves forward crossing bamboo and our camp Lama hotel can be reached.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m)
The trail ascents across a forest, where we can study more about the hemlock, oaks, maples and rhododendron and it also offers us the beautiful view of Langtang Lirung peak the highest peak of Langtang valley. Walking through Gumnachok Thomna, chyamki we get to Langtang village after 5-6 hours walking.

Day 06: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)
This day we start our trek following gradual scending trail which leads to Sindum and Yamphu (3640m). Then we pass Laja Khola bridge and immediately the trail ascend to a magnificent viewpoint.from here Kyanjin Gompa, an beautiful waterfall and the landscape of Langtang national park can be seen. Seeing these all thing we head further following descending trail to Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 07: Acclimatization day at Kyanjing Gompa (3870m)
This day we make an acclimatization day here and we make an optional easy hike around the Kyanjing gompa.

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa to Ganja La pass (5130m) and Keldang (4270m)
From kyanjing Gompa we wake up early morning and start walking to Gnaja-La pass. The trail ascends up and up to the pass crossing high camp. The pass is really an incredible for the view point, from where Langtang fantastic vista of Langtang Lirung range and other small peaks can be seen. From the pass the trail goes forward to to Keldang (4270m).

Day 09: Keldang to Dukpu (4080m)
This is little shorter walk as we walked longer a day before. The trail descends gradually through a long ridge, walking several up and down we continue our trek to Dukpu which takes around 4 hours.

Day 10: Dukpa to Tarke Gyang (2590m)
This days walk, goes via Yangri Peak, one of the beautiful peak in Helambu region, From Dukpu village the trekking path goes down which leads us to a small pass near the Yangri Peak this pass offers an magnificent panoramic vista of the snowcapped peaks. From there the trails descend through forest and it takes us to Gekye Gompa and then our camp Tarke Ghyang can be reached.

Day 11: Trek to Tarke Ghyang (2600m)
The trail descends steeply to the valley floor, where you can have a well earned dip in the crystal- clear river before completing the short and mild ascent up the other side of the valley. Tarkegyang boasts an 18th century Gompa with huge brass prayer wheel.

Day 12:Tarke Ghyang to Sermathang (2590m)

An easy flat walk to Shermathang makes our day’s journey memorable. This is a Sherpa village and they have very warm hospitability and they become happy to introduce themselves that they are different from the Sherpa of Everest region. During walking the walk offers us good views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gosainkunda and Rolwaling.

Day 13: Sarmathang to Melamchi bazaar (870m)

The trail does up and down to the till Melamchi bazaar. This day we pass through the village area and the highlighted settlements of the route are Kakani (1996 m), Pokhari Bhanjyang (1565m) and Tallathok (1500 m). This isa small town situated in the bank of Indrawati River At this place another river Melamchi khola also joins with this Indrawati River and heads forward together.

Day 14: Drive from Melamchi Bazaar to Kathmandu (1350m)

We take a bus and drive through the road which goes parallel with the river Indrawati which heads ahead and joins with Araniko highway at Zero kilometer after 2 hours driving and then we follow the Araniko high way to Kathmandu which takes totally around 5 hours.

Day 15: Security day
This day is the security day for visiting the remaining places around Kathmandu valley and also for shopping. This evening we all will have farewell dinner.

Day 16: Departure
This day our representative will come to hotel and take you to airport for final departure on your time with wishing you very happy journey.

Day 01: Departrure from own country.

Day 04: Drive Kathamandu to Dhunche/Syabrubeshi (2200m.) Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 05: Trek to  Lama Hotel (2410m.) Duration: 6 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Ghode Tabela (3010m.) Duration: 5 hours.
Day 07: Trek to Langtang Village (3430m.) Duration: 6 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3830m.) Duration: 4-5 hours.
Day 09: Acclimatisation and Visit around to walk up Tsergo Ri (4985m.) and walk down back Kyangin Duration: 4-5 hours.
Day 10: Kyanjin to Ganja-La Phedi (4300m.) Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 11: Ganjala phedi to Keldang (4250m.) Steep walk up to Ganja La Pass (5130m.) Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 12: Kaldang to  Dhukpa/Yak Kharka (4000m.) Duration: 6 hours.
Day 13: Yak kharka to Tarkhegyang (2600m.), Gradual up & Steep down, Duration: 6 hours.
Day 14: Trek to Sermathang (2500m.) Duration: 3-4 hours.
Day 15: Trek to Melamchi pull Bazaar. Duration: 3-4 hours.) then after drive ( Duration: 2-3 hours.) to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Day 16: Day book at ktm.
Day 17: Departure from Ktm.
Day 18: Arrival own country.

Ganjala Pass

This trek is located in the north of Nepal in the Langtang park created in 1976. It is the 2nd largest park in the country. You hike in the Trisuli valley surrounded by the Himalayan peaks of Ganesh Himal, Jugal and Rolwalling Himal.
A beautiful circuit in a park sheltering many wild animals often in the process of extinction like the Snow Leopard or the Red Panda.
A picturesque path in the middle of rhododendron and pine forests. It follows torrents and moraines to gradually climb to the Gandjala la pass at 5130m. At the top of the pass you have a sublime view of Langtang Lirung (7225m) and on a clear day you can contemplate the southern Himalayan chain. You cross many villages inhabited by Brahmans, Tamangs and Sherpas. These ethnic groups of Tibetan Buddhist culture have kept their traditions in their way of life.
