Annapurna Trek

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport (1350m.)

Your representative will meet you at the airport to take you to your hotel. You can rest from your trip. In the evening your guide will give you the details of the program. Nepalese dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Visit of Kathmandu

Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and other places listed as World Heritage by Unesco.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

Beshisahar can be reached in 6-7 hours by road by tourist bus or by private Jeep from Kathmandu. We follow the Prithivi highway.

Day 04: Pokhara to Pothana (1,920m)

In the morning, we take a car for a 45 minute drive to Phedi. From the base of Dhampus, we walk about 45 minutes between large trees. Following the village path we gradually climb towards Potana. From the path you can see the Machapuchhre and other mountains of the Himalayan range.

Day 05: Pothana to Landruk (1,565m)

The path to Langdruk descends a little lower than Potana, then goes up towards Landruk. You can see on the left by walking terraced fields covered with crops. Then, on an easy path we reach Langdruk, a typical rural village.

Day 06: Landruk to Chomrong (2170m)

The path continues to the new bridge, followed by Jhinu Danda until we reach Chhomron. It is a beautiful village of Gurung situated on a plot with a sloping terrace and facing north of the Annapurna mountain range.

Day 07: Chomrong to Doban (2870m)

From Chhomrong, we take a stone staircase which descends gradually towards the khola of Chhomrong. The path climbs slowly towards Sinuwa (2360 m). We then cross the forest. After passing Bamboo we reach Dovan.

Day 08: Doban base camp at Machapuchhre (3700m)

Leaving the village of Deurali behind us, we head to the Machapuchhre base camp. Going up in altitude, we can see different landscapes and plants. We arrive at the edge of the forests to enter the Alpine area. From there, you can see the great Machhapuchre mountain to the southeast and Mount Annapurna to the west.

Day 09: Machapuchhre base camp at Annapurna (4,130 m)

Today we reach the base camp of Doban Annapurna in three hours of climb. At lunch break, we can admire the view of the high peaks. We descend to Dovan, always keeping a magnificent view of the mountains.

Day 10: Doban to Chomrong (2170m)

From Dovan, we cross the forest by taking the same path which descends gradually towards the bamboo village, the village of Sinuwa and the Chhomrong khola, then we go up slowly towards Chhomrong (2710 m)

Day 11: Chomrong to Tadapani (2690m)

The path gradually descends to the village of Kimrong and Kimrung Khola where we take the bridge to cross the river. Then we follow the path to reach the Tadapani. It is a village with 6 to 7 tea rooms in the rhododendron forest.

Day 12 Tadapani to Ghorapani (2750m)

Here, the path descends steep after a few stone steps for an hour to the small bridge. Then we go up about an hour and a half to the teahouse located at the top of the hill. We reach another small river where we can stop for lunch. Afterwards, we have to climb for about three hours to Dowan to reach the village of Ghorepani.

Day 13: Ghorapani to Hile (1500 m)

Early in the morning, we climb a hill which offers a very beautiful point of view called Poonhill (3210 m). From there you have a very nice view of the Himalayan range with the famous peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, visible in the light of the rising sun. From Poonhill, we return to Ghorepani and begin to descend through the forest to Hile.

Day 14: Hile to Pokhara (820m)

We descend to Nayapul (1070m), a pretty village typical of Nepal with a beautiful landscape all around. We leave the Annapurna and Nayapul conservation area. We take a bus or jeep for 2 hours drive to Pokhara.

2 to 3 hours of walking

Day 15: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m)

To return to Kathmandu two possibilities: either by tourist bus for 6 to 7 hours of road, or by plane for 30 minutes of flight.

Day 16: Kathmandu

Free visit of the city and souvenir shopping in the many craft shops. We will have a farewell dinner all together in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu

That day, we will come to the hotel and take you to the airport at the time that suits you for the final departure from your home.

Annapurna Sanctuary

This trek also called Annapurna Base camp ABC is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The sanctuary was discovered by climbers who came to climb Annapurna: "I looked for a way to this almost inaccessible amphitheater". The sanctuary route is linked in the southern part to the circuit of the ABC Annapurna base camp.

At an altitude of 4130m you reach a dazzling natural amphitheater. It is formed by the peaks of the Himalayan giants: Machhapuchhare 6997m, Gangapurna 7454m, Annapurna 1 at 8091m, Ganggapurna 7454m, Annapurna south 7219m, Nilgiri center 6940m and lamjung 6983m.

The circuit is done over 15 to 16 days.
