Annapurna Trek

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu(1350m.)

Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport representative will welcome you and give you further details of the program. There are no planned activities for your arrival day, so check into the hotel, get your bearings and enjoy your overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Visit to Boudhanath Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath. Evening briefing about trek.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besisahar (8 20m)
Beshisahar can be reached in 6-7 hours driving by private bus or Jeep from Kathmandu. We follow the Prithivi high way up to Dumre and the follow branch road towards right side. This is the district headquarter of Lamjung.

Day 04: Besisahar to Ngadi (8 30m)
From Beshisahar we drive forward to Bulbule for around one hour on bumpy road and then we start walking after crossing the steel bridge we follow the trekking trail from next to Marsyangdi river to get to Ngadi. Some people some people direct go by driving to Ngadi.

Day 05: Ngadi to Jagat (1385m)
From Ngadi we go up to Bahundanda observing the terrace field and local lifestyle. From bahundanda the trail descend little down and gets easily to Jagat. Which is small village just above the Marsyangdi river.

Day 06: Jagat to Dharapani (1900m)
In the morning we start walking to Chyamje ( 1430 m) and following the trekking old trail via Taal village (1700 m) we get to Dharapani in the afternoon which is in Manag district. It takes around 6-7 hours walking.

Day 07: Dharapani to Chame (2670m)
Chame is the headquarter of Manang district which can be reached after passing away the village Bagarchhap ( 2140m), Timang  (2350m), Tangchok and Koto (2600 m). it is a beautiful village having many teahouse lodges and district administration office.

Day 08: Chame to Pisang  (3250m)
We will walk a head following the trail via Thaluke and Bharatang village where we have good time to see the local daily life and the cultures. It is in the distance of 6-7 walking hours. Here at Pisang we can visit to Monastery.

Day 09: Pisang to Manang  (3540m)
It is in the 6 hours walking distance. There is also small airport here on the way, we still have to go still forward to north side following the trail to , old Buddhist monastery, snow caped mountain and the alpine forest are the main attraction of this area.

Day 10: Rest Day at Manang  (3540m)
We make one rest day here. It is for maintaining the body with local environment. It’s for preventing from high altitude sickness problem. On this day we can visit to Ice Lake or Gompa and Milarepa cave as a short and easy day tour.

Day 11: Manang to Yakharka (4200m)
We start our trek after breakfast and we will ascend up to almost 500 meters on this day above tree line region. On the way we can visit small stupas and maniwalls. Observing the animal Bluesheep and some other good looking birds in the steep hills, we keep going upwards to Yakkharka which takes around 4 hour of walking.

Day 12: Yakharka to High Camp (4850m)
As much as we go higher we will have more beautiful scenery. This day we can see more panoramic Mountain View and unique landscape on snowline. Some people do not stay at high camp they start Thorung pass direct from Phedi (4450m).

Day 13: High Camp to Muktinath (3800m)
we start walking very early in the morning after breakfast and have to walk slope upwards to the Thorung La (5416 m) top following the snowy path of Himalaya. From the top We can view incredible mountains range. It take four hours to get to the top of Thorung La and then the path goes downward to Muktinath on this day totally we have to walk around 8-9 hours of walking.

Day 14: Muktinath to Jomsom (2950m)
Muktinath is a holy place for both Bhuddist and Hindu pilgrims , where we can see one pagoda styled small temple and 108 water taps on its back and nonstop flaming light in side there. We walk down to Jomsom on this day which is very easy. We can follow the trail either directly to jomsom or via Kagbeni. To get to Jomsom we can also get ride to jeep.

Day 15: Fly back to Pokhara or may continue down by foot then Jomsom to Tukuche (2950m)
This day we can fly to Pokhara from here in the morning. It takes around 25 minutes to get to pokhara airport. It is an option.
Another alternative: We can continue the trek to Tukuche (2950m) from the Jomsom following the Kaligandaki river bank.

Day 16: Tukuche to Ghasa (2010m)
This day we walk down to Ghasa passing way the Khobang, larjung and Kalopani villages. We can also get ride to jeep or bus on bumpy road. It takes around 5 hours on foot.

Day 17: Ghasa to Tatopani (1050m)
We can follow the old trekking trail and also go via road to get to Tatopani.it a natural hot spring in the bank of Kaligandaki river at the bottom of village.

Day 18: Tatopani to Ghorepani  (2750m)
From here we cross the river kaligandaki and the the trail slopes upward to Ghorepani. On The way we can meet donkey carrying loads. After walking of around 6-7 hours through the village and terrace field we get to Ghorepani.

Day 19: Walk to Poonhill and trek to Hile (1500m)
Early in the morning before breakfast we climb up to a hill, which a very good view point called poonhill (3210m) from where many world famous mountain range Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna range can be seen on rising sun light.From Poonhill we return to Ghorepani and start walk down to the hile after breakfast .This is 6 hours walking in the forest and on the way we can meet few teahouses.

Day 20: Hile to Pokhara (820m)
We start walking down to Nayapul (1070m) seeing the typical daily life, local cultures and beautiful landscape. We exit from Annapurna conservation area and from Napapul we take bus or jeep ride for around 2 hours to get to Pokhara.

Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu
To return to Kathmandu we have two alternatives. Either we can take 35 minutes flight or 6-7 hours driving. by private reserved vehicle.

Day22: Reserve day this is the day for looking around city and also for buying something as per your interest. We will have farewell dinner all together in Kathmandu on this evening.

Day 22: Departure:
This day we will come to hotel and take you to airport on your given time for the final departure to home with wishing you good luck.

Around Annapurna

This trek is done on a popular route in Nepal. It offers a wide variety of landscapes: Rivers, flora and fauna in abundance. Breathtaking views of peaks like Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Pisang Peak, Chulu and Dhaulagiri. You cross four regions: the regions of Lamjung and Myagdi with green subtropical valleys and terraced villages. The Manang and Mustang regions are higher in altitude. You walk in the gorges of the Kali Gandaki river surrounded by two impressive 8000: Annapurna I (8081m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m).

You discover in contact with the locals the Tibetan Buddhist culture.

This trek takes 22 days from Beshisahar to Nayapul via the Thorung pass 5416m.
